Apple’s probably releasing new iPods today, and it just made me think about how ugly the new and supposed new nanos are, and how much I hate hard drives in pocket devices. I want a version of the Gen 1 nano, which is still drop-dead sexy, but at 32 gigs, to hold all of my music.

  1. Great, the new Nano is as ugly as predicted, and the biggest it gets is still 8 gigs. I think I’m going to pick up a refurb 8-gig 2nd gen, because I get the feeling the price for those is going to be in the toilet really, really, soon.

  2. Also, since I think we all know that my blog is your primary news source:
    - New colors for the shuffle, otherwise unchanged.
    - Round, brushed metal iPod @ 80 or 160 gig, same price.
    - “iPod Touch”, which is more or less a phone-less iPhone. Actually, that’s exactly what this is.
